New recordings for David W. Solomons, Jan Freidlin and Carson Cooman

Three Musik Fabrik composers have had new recordings issued this month:

The Duo Musaikón(Davide Compostella (clarinet) and Alessandro Balsimini (guitar)) has released a wonderful CD on the Phoenix classics label with two Musik Fabrik works: David Solomons' Petticoat Lane for Clarinet and guitar, and Jan Freidlin's Tenderness in the version for Clarinet and Guitar. Zimbel recordings has recently released Summer Songs: Chamber Music of Carson Cooman , which includes the Musik Fabrik works Summer Song (2003) for cello, Canalscape: Soliloquy for String Quartet (2003) and Tombeau-Aria (2003) for string quartet, as well as other works published by MMB.
